Derek Brown LLb (Hons)
I have been a partner at Bevirs for 25 years, working from the firm’s office in Royal Wootton Bassett since 1983.
I was born in Solihull but was brought up in Henley on Thames. One of my greatest claims to fame was while studying for A levels and my law degree, I was a gardener for the musician and former Beatle George Harrison, on his Friar Park estate in Henley.
In 1981, I took articles in London and after qualifying became part of the Bevirs’ family of solicitors. Today I specialise in conveyancing - helping people and businesses in the buying and selling of property.
I married my wife Janice in 1983 and we have two daughters Nicola and Zoe. I enjoy golf and am currently a member of The Wiltshire Golf Club with a handicap of 23.
